There are many joys of the season in decking the halls with festive finery old and new. There is always a special place in our hearts this time of year for the tried and true vintage kitsch that recalls Christmas past. Whether repurposed farm and flea goods, collectible blow mold pieces or antiques, plants, treats and more – Rogers has you covered for unique, memorable holiday items.

The best thing about budget decor tips like these? They are even more affordable if found at the Flea!

These warm (hot!) days make us all want to take to the porch, patio or deck to relax and catch some breezes! Our upcoming Mega Monthly Consignment Auction  is a great source for outdoor furnishings – or furnishings re purposed for summer living! Ask me how many vintage gliders, wicker furnishings and patio sets I’ve purchased for pennies on the original dollar? No, don’t, my husband actually does not know. No need to look in the back of the barn dear. Yes we have always had three complete patio sets, why do you ask?

Check out this inspiring article about some “past prime” 1970’s furniture (the kind that shows up at auctions OFTEN) and see how it was reworked into charming outdoor furniture that won’t blow away in the breeze!

It was with great sadness that (some) greeted the news that our favorite Fixer Upper couple, Chip and JoJo of Fixer Upper (HGTV) Fame were going off air. While we know we will still have their seventy-billion other Magnolia/Waco Oriented Business offerings to fall back on, the truth is we may have to get our “Fixer Upper On” all by ourselves! Never fear, Rogers Flea Market is always here with our award winning market and miles of aisles to bring you chippy, vintage, creamy white, farm fresh fixer upper fresh farmhouse goodness.

Be sure to follow Rogers on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest via the links on this website!

It’s January … something? 1st? 2nd? Eleventeenth? Something like that. I think we all lose track of time a bit over the holidays.

One thing we do know for certain is that just as Valentine’s displays bloom in stores as early as Christmas Day, so too does the desire to “Clean up!” and “Organize!” as we kick off a new year.

It can be costly, and let’s be honest, kind of homely, to stock up on plastic bins and storage totes in your local big box mart. I call storage totes “clutter coffins.” So often in using them we have not so much “cleaned up” as “put off a decision about something we should probably get rid of.” You do you.

There are so many places and spaces in our home that storage IS needed. Everyday, or seasonal, items that need a place to be. That is where the magic of FLEA-TASTIC good taste and Thrift Hunting takes form. You can repurpose vintage items for wonderful, affordable storage all around the home, barn, garage and office.

The fun part? The hunt! Start around the house and if you don’t find anything in the house, barn, garage or storage shed (surely everyone has those right?) then head on down to visit our amazing flea market vendors who are here ALL YEAR ROUND. Every Friday we have SEVEN heated buildings with a changing variety of vendors in addition to a restaurant, hot fresh Amish made doughnuts and our heartiest outdoor vendors too!

It’s no secret that “green lifestyle,” “vintage” and “flea markets” have been hip and rising for quite some time. Still, too many people think flea markets are only for “collectors.” People looking for that perfect chotchke, Matchbox car, Fiesta© plate or crazy eyed cat clock to complete their collection. (Not that there’s anything WRONG with that).

In truth flea markets are an amazing source of affordable, charming, practical and unique pieces to make your home and business shine. What better place to source one of a kind pieces not found at Pottery Barn or Target? Or, if that’s your style (and hey, we love Pottery Barn around these parts!) emulate that style for a fraction of the cost?

Tune in for this great video on Flea Market Fabulous Finds and how to elevate your style the Flea Market Fabulous Way.
