Summertime Funner-Time?

While we don’t have “a season” (we are open Every Friday All Year Round) we definitely see an uptick in vendors and vendors during these summer months. After a rainy start (if by “start” we mean since around 2015) we have seen a string of absolutely beautiful Fridays.

We suggest you come out for the day and enjoy the early morning with a hot, homemade breakfast, warm and gooey Amish Doughnut or simply pick up some farm fresh fruit from one of our many produce vendors.

Stroll the aisles in the cooler morning hours looking for the best deals and let your treasure hunting take you from grass to gravel and back again. Cool creamy ice cream or shakes, savory treats and numerous sweets abound.

Grab a hot sausage, gyro or beef steak for a hearty lunch and Mason Jar lemonades are always a hit.

As the afternoon wanes the evening auctions gear up with Miscellaneous and Fresh Eggs, Baked Goods, Plants and Produce in two separate 5 p.m. auctions.

It was with great sadness that (some) greeted the news that our favorite Fixer Upper couple, Chip and JoJo of Fixer Upper (HGTV) Fame were going off air. While we know we will still have their seventy-billion other Magnolia/Waco Oriented Business offerings to fall back on, the truth is we may have to get our “Fixer Upper On” all by ourselves!
